Biography

Hi, my name is Alison Wood and I am a senior in the Interior Architecture & Design major. I am passionate about creating spaces people can feel comfortable in while also having a unique look to them. I always enjoyed rearranging my room as a kid, and interior design enables me to think creatively about space, how it’s laid out and how spaces interact with one another.

For my senior thesis, I decided to redesign a ski resort that I am very passionate about. The resort closed in 2015 and I wanted to bring new life to the resort through a fresh and exciting design. I also incorporated sustainability into the project, as it is an important aspect moving forward in the design world as climate change affects these types of places.
