About Daniela Tishchenko
Daniela Tishchenko is a graduating senior in Interior Architecture + Design as well as a Commonwealth Honors Scholar. In addition to her passion of interior design, she enjoys serving in her local church community with her artistic and musical talents. She is excited to start a career in a field in which she can be both creative and practical.
Statement
Woven Cafe & Beauty Bar blends a coffee shop and skincare products to give its visitors a unique and inspiring experience. Like most markets today, the coffee industry creates large amounts of waste each year. Woven reduces its own impact through design and conscious coffee practices, as well as by focusing on its skincare line. Coffee grounds have skin brightening, wrinkle smoothing, and acne reducing benefits. Used coffee grounds are repurposed in a skincare line within the building, and the space will also offer a beauty bar that encourages guests to learn how to reuse their coffee grounds at home.
