		Courses Our sustainability classes afford students the opportunity to participate in real-word applications including assessments of our campus and local communities. Topics of Sustainability classes look at resource issues through the lens of five disciplines. See our upcoming summer and fall course listings.

		Student Projects Students in sustainability classes often work on team research projects which directly benefit the campus.

		Programs Sustainability is woven throughout UMD's curriculum. Students can engage in various ways, including the sustainability minor and certificate programs. Many departments, including Mechanical Engineering, Policy Studies, and the MBA program, have environmental/sustainability tracks or certificates in place or in the works.
