How Earth supports life. A big-history approach is taken starting with the Big Bang and continuing with formation of our solar system and evolution of life on Earth, up to present-day global environmental impacts of human civilization. In doing so, this course will uncover the underlying principles that created and maintain Earth¿s habitability and its possible future here and elsewhere.
