MUS 205: Intro To Music Therapy - spring

General Education requirement: Cultural & Artistic Literacy

Introduction to the fundamentals of music therapy.  As an overview to the field, topics covered in the course will include basic principles, historical and theoretical perspectives, as well as brain functioning. Simple models, case studies, and basic musical techniques will be explored. This course is open to all students interested in the multi-faceted uses of music therapy.
