NUR 677: Mental Hlth Nur Practicum II
Prerequisite: NUR 564, 565 - coreq NUR 670
Extension and application of knowledge of psychiatric & mental care for children, adolescents, and adults by working with a preceptor in a psychiatric setting. Students apply & refine assessment & diagnostic skills to individuals with comorbidities and increasingly complex psychiatric disorders. Students utilize assessment data, evidence-based literature, and standards of care to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans with increasing independence.
