POM 447: Project Management - spring

Prerequisite: POM 345

Selection, planning, execution, monitoring, and control of business projects using financial and non-financial decision methods. Students will explore computerized and AI-supported project management tools to develop practical skills in evaluating project opportunities, defining scope, building project teams, allocating resources, estimating costs, managing budgets, and scheduling activities. Topics include the role of the project manager, risk management, negotiation, conflict resolution, performance measurement, and project execution. Emphasis is placed on case analysis, real-world applications, and data-informed managerial decision making.
