Khalid Omar is the Employer Relations Specialist at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he cultivates meaningful connections between students and employers to expand access to jobs, internships, and career-building opportunities. With more than a decade of experience across higher education, workforce development, and international development, Khalid brings a unique perspective shaped by service in government, nonprofit, and private sector roles. His career has included leadership positions with the U.S. Agency for International Development, the World Bank Group, and major workforce initiatives in both the U.S. and abroad. Across all his roles, Khalid has remained focused on advancing equity, building inclusive talent pipelines, and helping individuals unlock their potential.

At UMass Dartmouth, Khalid leads employer outreach and engagement strategies for signature career fair events, networking events and recruitment initiatives.
