Mind, Body & Spirit Mental Health & Wellness Week
Mental Health Awareness Week
April 10-14, 2023
This time of year is stressful for everyone. Rates of depression, anxiety, loneliness, and substance abuse have increased post pandemic. Mental Health Awareness week was established in 1990 by the U.S. Congress in recognition of efforts by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) to educate and increase awareness about mental health and wellness. The UMassD community is coming together to host a Mental Health Awareness Week from April 10-14, 2023. Join Mind, Body & Sprit: Mental Health Awareness to revive and refresh. We all need to have a little fun and engage in activities for recreation, relaxation, and stress relief. Mark your calendar and plan to join us!
