Admission and transfer requirements
Students seeking conditional guaranteed transfer admission from Edmonds Community College to UMass Dartmouth must:
- Complete an associate degree at Edmonds Community College.
- Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, and Medical Laboratory Science majors require a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7.
- Meet the English proficiency requirement. Under this agreement, the TOEFL requirement is waived upon completion of the associate degree. Otherwise, the agreement requires a minimum TOEFL score of 520 on the paper-based test, 68 on the internet-based test, or a minimum IELTS score of 6.0.
- Submit a complete international undergraduate application to UMass Dartmouth.
These conditions satisfy the requirements for general transfer admission to UMass Dartmouth. Admission to a specific major may be subject to additional requirements.
