AXD 414: Portfolio & the Profession - spring
Prerequisite: AXD 413
General Education requirement: 5A - Capstone Study
Continuation of AXD 413. Each student advances and completes a long-term project in order to build a consistent, professional-level portfolio, culminating in a public exhibition. Business aspects of the illustration field, such as self-promotion, client management, agency representation, communication, ethics, and publishing are explored. Frequent guest artists will speak on their careers in a range of illustration-related industries.
