BIO 331: General Microbiology Lecture - fall
Prerequisite: BIO 234, Biochemistry majors only
The nature and diversity of microorganisms. Special emphasis is placed on bacterial cytology, nutrition, physiology, and growth. Topics on the significance of microorganisms in the environment and the evolutionary relationships of microorganisms are included. Please note that students cannot receive credit for this course and General Microbiology (BIO 321).
