BNG 428: Med Device Development Process - fall

Prerequisite: BNG 255 or permission of instructor

Design of biomedical engineering devices and systems. This course provides a general overview of the principles involved in taking a design idea from brainstorming stages through product development, manufacturing, testing, marketing, and post-marketing surveillance. Topics include medical regulatory affairs related to biomedical devices and a foundation to understand the regulations based on the US FDA requirements.
