CIS 452: Database Systems - fall

Prerequisite: CIS 280; C or Better

General Education requirement: Natural Science Technology

Use of DBMS software in the development of information systems. Includes an overview of the ANSI/SPARC Study Group on Database Management Systems model and relational database model techniques. Emphasis is placed on user views necessary to support data management and retrieval. Also includes practical AI skills that facilitate the design and management of database systems, such as AI-assisted data modeling and AI-guided SQL programming.
