CJS 333: International Crime & Justice - spring

Engages students with transnational and intersectional contexts of crime and (in)justice, including international notions of justice. Areas of analysis include an introduction to the international criminal justice process, global trends in crime such as trafficking in humans, drugs, flora/fauna; green criminology, war crimes, and more. This course focuses on cross-cultural perspectives on gender-based violence, and globalized understandings of justice including human rights tribunals, truth commissions, grassroots movements, and more.
