LAW 722: Law & Intern Economic Devel

Prerequisite: LAW 515, 516, 530, 531, 540, 541, 545, & 546

An exploration of the ways, past and present, in which the relationship between the legal order and processes of economic development has been understood on the national and global scales. In this seminar-style class we will survey this relationship by looking at a range of literatures in law/legal theory, economics, history and historical sociology, and political economy.
