NUR 381: Appl Mental Health Nurs Conc - fall

Prerequisite: NUR 352 & 353; Corequisite NUR 380

NUR 381 complements the nursing concepts presented in NUR 380. Various mental health sites in the area will be selected for clinical placement. Students will observe and practice diverse interventions that promote a person¿s mental health, guide them in their mental health care, and maintain safety in the therapeutic environment. Guided by the ANA Scope and Standards of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (2014)
