University Procedures
University Facilities
University organizations may use university facilities for business, cultural or social events. Those wishing to schedule an event must first acquire approval from the Conference Office, located on the ground floor of the Resident Dining Hall, at least two weeks prior to the event. Priority will be given to regularly-scheduled classes or special classes, then to student organizations, faculty and administrative meetings and, lastly, to non-university-connected organizations. These events will be listed in the Master Calendar maintained by the Conference Office.
Where there exists a minor conflict for use of space with other organizations, the organization whose application was received first shall have precedence. To avoid conflicts in scheduling, those wishing to hold on-campus events should also consult the Master Calendar in the Conference Office, located on the ground floor of the Resident Dining Hall.
A use charge may be assessed where necessary by the director of facilities and physical plant for all buildings and facilities except the Campus Center, Resident Dining Hall and residence halls, which have their own fee schedules. Responsibility for damage must be assumed by the user.
