Testing Providers
Neuropsychological or Psychoeducational Assessment
Psychological testing to document a learning disability can be obtained through any of the psychologists listed below or through your local office of the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission.
Massachusetts Rehabilitation
If you are a resident of Massachusetts, the advantages of arranging for this evaluation through Mass Rehab are 1) Mass Rehab will pay for the testing and 2) if testing shows that you do in fact have a learning disability, Mass Rehab will offer you “services”, which for college students generally means some financial assistance with books or tuition. The disadvantage of arranging this through Mass Rehab is that it may take more time to arrange for the testing as you will need to be interviewed by Mass Rehab, complete paperwork and wait for determination that you are eligible for services.
