UMass Dartmouth is a proud partner of Courage Builder an award-winning New England-based startup committed to developing the skills of the future. Courage Builder (formerly known as Tribe Academy) combines industry and academia to accelerate students' learning, growth, and career advancement through high-impact, experiential programs and events. 

Bringing together 200+ students with industry partners, Courage Builder offers networking opportunities, workshops, externships, conferences, and competitions for students from traditionally underrepresented racial and cultural backgrounds in business and STEM.  

Blue Economy Careers

As part of the university's Blue Economy Initiative, UMass Dartmouth and Courage Builder partner to offers Blue Tech Innovation programming that connects students to the region’s growing blue economy through immersive career exploration and experiential learning opportunities. These initiatives include externships, internships, early-career conferences, networking events, and professional development programming designed to introduce students from a wide range of majors to careers in ocean technology, marine science, robotics, sustainability, and related industries. Through hands-on projects and direct engagement with industry leaders, students gain valuable insight into the many ways they can contribute to the future of the blue economy.
