Activities

You're back from study abroad! Now what? IPO sponsors several events each semester to help "unpack" your study abroad experience for personal and professional purposes.

New England Study Abroad Returnee Conference

Typically held in February or March, the annual New England Study Abroad Returnee Conference aims to educate study abroad alumni on the best ways to utilize the skills gained from their experience abroad. It is a great way to learn about international opportunities throughout New England, share stories with others that have similar interests and experiences, internationalize your resume and interviewing skills, and discover how to study, teach, live, or work abroad! Check the conference website watch for the date and location of the next conference.

Work with us!

Share your passion for study abroad! Each semester the IPO hires several peer advisors to spread the word about study abroad to students on-campus. Please contact IPO for further information.

Global Ambassadors Program

The Global Ambassadors Program is a volunteer program (approximately 30 hours of service) that aims to bring together students who have studied abroad and can share their experiences and speak to the benefits of study abroad to students on our campus. Some examples of activities one can participate in include hosting exchange students, assisting with student information sessions and study abroad fairs, peer advising, etc. Once 30 hours are completed, you will receive a certificate, which you may list on your resumé. Please contact IPO for further information.
