I. Policy

The Clery Act is a consumer protection law that aims to provide transparency around campus crime policy and statistics and fire safety.

II. Purpose

These publicized statistics are meant to disclose to students, employees and applicants the prevalence of campus crime and the breadth and scope of fires and related safety programs. The annual report also provides the university community with policy statements and practices required by law.
