Work experience at a specialized level supervised for graded academic credit by a faculty member in the student's major field. Terms and hours to be arranged. Students must register in advance to receive credit for an internship in the Business College. A skills-building course aimed at increasing awareness of the issues related to managing multicultural workplaces. Focus will be placed on the challenges and opportunities afforded leaders/managers in dynamic U.S.-based workplaces. Personal exploration of prejudices, myths/facts, and perceptions which shape effective leadership will be central to this course.

A leadership course that focuses on the conceptual foundations and practical skills necessary to effectively manage people. Students will explore various approaches to leadership, and they will practice influence tactics, coaching skills, and other techniques for leading people.
