A faculty - student discussion open to the whole community to consider philosophical and psychological questions about the nature of morals, the development of a moral code, and how such a code might be imbued or transferred to AI agents. The event will include some overall remarks, but will also feature student presentations, discussion tables, and questions that need to be addressed as we proceed with the push to AGI. Everyone should feel free to swing by for a little bit or for the whole event. Bring leftover Halloween candy to share!
