Richard Feynman famously said that the essence of quantum mechanics is to be found in the double-slit experiment. I will show that the double-slit experiment can be interpreted in terms of the theory of stochastic processes. I will explain the stochastic-quantum dictionary and briefly review the experiment, along with the path integral approach applied to the double-slit setup. I will then reinterpret the experiment in terms of indivisible stochastic processes. The stochastic transition function describing the double-slit statistics is derived. I will conclude with a discussion of future work, including the computational modeling of the experiment as a stochastic process.
