Insurance

Students are required to demonstrate that they carry personal medical insurance that will cover them abroad.

All students participating in a university-approved study abroad program also recieve supplemental coverage under the university's plan: UMass system's international health insurance policy. 

Some program providers also provide a supplemental form of medical insurance that can be used in addition.
