Take one 4-week mini-course:  Participants take one course for four weeks. Classes held in assigned rooms/laboratories/studios throughout the campus.

      
  • Art
    Joanne Dorothy directs four sessions of artistic experimentaiton in drawing, paiting, sculpture, design, and anything else interesting that you can talk her into.
   
 
  • Digital Photography
    Take better pictures with some expert tips from Liz Tache and learn how to use Adobe Photoshop in a UMass computer lab to make those pictures spectacular.  Spotlight can provide you with a camera or you can use your own.
   
 
  • International Film Festival
    Spotlight Program Coordinator  Trace Holmes and group leader Liz Jonsson will introduce a selection of classic films (bring your own snacks if you like -- you know the popcorn will always be fresh and free!)
   
 
  • Yoga
    Build your mental, physical, and emotional strength and flexibility with yoga instructor Tricia McDonald; find more info at her

  • Guerrilla Theater
    Develop an original theatre piece, from playwriting to auditions to rehearsals to performance to videotaping, with theatre director Jarrad Nunes.
   
 
  • Handwriting Analysis
    Want to learn more?  Janice Warren gets into the details and shows you how to become  grapho analyst who can read the personalities of your friends.
