Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 3:00pm to 5:00pm

On September 11, 2001, four coordinated Islamist suicide attacks by al-Qaeda terrorists against American targets using hijacked airplanes changed the face of terrorism forever. Based on his field experience tracking suicide bombers in Afghanistan for the CIA, History Professor Brian Williams will share the epic story behind the Hollywood blockbuster Zero-Dark-Thirty about the tenacious female CIA analyst who tracked down the elusive Osama bin Laden and oversaw the Special Forces operation to assassinate the terrorist leader in the mountains of Pakistan.
