Corsair Olympics is one of UMass Dartmouth’s most beloved traditions, a high energy, community building event held during Move In Weekend as part of Welcome Weekend. Designed for first year residents living in Balsam and Spruce, the program brings students together right after move in for an afternoon of friendly competition, team spirit, and building pride.
The event features a mix of physical challenges, creative activities, and team based games that help new students meet their hallmates, connect with their RAs, and start forming their residential community from day one. It’s a lively, welcoming kickoff to campus life and a signature moment in the first year experience.
