Health Services


  • Students can enroll in Quitworks through Student Health Services. Quitworks is a free state-sponsored smoking cessation program that provides private telephone couseling with a quit smoking coach and two weeks of nicotine replacement therapy.
  • Students will be encouraged to make appointments with Student Health Services for individual counseling and the review and prescribing of smoking cessation medications. Faculty and staff are encouraged to make appointments with their healthcare providers for the same.

Become an EX
The EX Plan is a free quit smoking program that helps you re-learn your life without cigarettes. Before you actually stop smoking, Become an EX will show you how to deal with the very things that trip up so many people when they try to quit smoking. So you'll be more prepared to quit and stay quit. Become an EX is a project of the National Alliance for Tobacco Cessation.

This is Quitting is a free and confidential texting program for young people who vape. Text “VapeFreeMass” to 88709 to get started! In partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

MyLifeMyQuit (National Jewish Health)
For teens and young adults who want help quitting all forms of tobacco, including vaping. MyLifeMyQuit has youth coach specialists trained to help young people by phone or text.
