Health advisories

UMass Dartmouth requires all residential and commuter students to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to the beginning of the semester to live, learn, or visit any UMassD campus or property. Health Services offers a wide range of LGBTQIA+ resources and services, from appropriate contraceptives to sharps disposal bins for those using injectable hormones.

Our staff is Safe Zone trained, and we strive to create a welcoming environment for all students.


The following is a list of services provided at our facilities:

  • Pap smears
  • STI testing
    • includes HIV and Hepatitis C testing
  • Condoms
  • Contraceptive management
  • Safer sex information
  • Blood drawing
  • Administering injectable hormones
  • Training on how to safely use injectable hormones
  • Provide and dispose of sharps containers
