ATIS-Advanced Traveler Information Systems
such as changeable message signs
ATMS-Advanced Traffic Management Systems:
Traffic centers with video response capabilities as used in
Electronic Toll Collection (FastLane)
APTS-Advanced Public Transportation Systems such as
smart buses that change a red light to a green like
ARTS-Advanced Rural Transportation System
