Academic opportunities

Explore programs you won't find anywhere else in the UMass system

We're the only campus with a College of Visual & Performing Arts, including an award-winning interior architecture program, and the only School of Marine Science & Technology, where you can study marine biology. Through our pre-law program and School of Law, you can fast-track your way to a law degree.

Personalized support

Build on what you've started

Whatever direction your academic journey takes—business, engineering, nursing, humanities, sciences, or your own flexible pathway—we’ll help you continue your path with new momentum. Our size means smaller classes, hands-on research opportunities, internships, and 1:1 career coaching to ensure you are career-ready at graduation.

A community where you belong

Find support and connection beyond the classroom

Outside of the classroom, you’ll find [#] sports teams, club sports—including an inaugural women's flag football team this fall—and dozens of clubs such as pep band, faith-based programming, top-notch mental health support, and guaranteed housing.

Colleges and schools

UMass Dartmouth has 7 degree-granting colleges and schools, and an Honors College.

UMassD also offers countless non-degree opportunities for professional and lifelong learners, including licensure, continuing education, and online courses.
