Hampshire College Transfer Information

Why UMass Dartmouth?

Simply put, UMass Dartmouth is the best kept secret in the state. With 120+ programs, we offer opportunities you won't find anywhere else in the UMass system. We're the only campus with a College of Visual & Performing Arts, a School for Marine Science & Technology, and a School of Law—alongside our College of Arts & Sciences, Charlton College of Business, College of Engineering, College of Nursing & Health Sciences, and Honors College.

Our students benefit from an education that goes beyond the classroom. We offer interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary programs, as well as opportunities for research, internships, and 1:1 career coaching.

We're also the most affordable in the UMass system, with many of our students graduating debt-free. And with a student body of 7,900 students, we offer something larger universities can't: a close-knit, diverse community where you’re more than a number—you’re known, supported, and set up to succeed.

UMass Dartmouth. Extraordinary is what we do.
