This is the second workshop in a series of four workshops co-hosted by the Career Center and the College of Engineering to help graduate students as they start their career journeys. This session is focused on resumes.
Craft effective, professional resumes tailored to U.S. job and internship markets.
You will learn the key elements of resume content such as education, experience, skills, and professional summaries while exploring the importance of formatting, personal branding, and ethical representation.
The session also demystifies applicant tracking systems (ATS), showing how to create keyword-optimized resumes that stand out in digital screenings.
Attendees will leave with tools to build both master and tailored resumes, understand how to align their experiences with job descriptions, and present their qualifications clearly and strategically.
