Classical recital scheduled on February 7 at UMass Dartmouth

Harpsichordist Paul Cienniwa and Baroque Cellist Audrey Cienniwa will perform in a free recital at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth on Thursday, February 7, at 12:30 p.m. The concert will be presented in the College of Visual and Performing Arts, room 153. Parking is available in lot 8/9.

Harpsichordist Paul Cienniwa and Baroque Cellist Audrey Cienniwa will perform in a free recital at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth on Thursday, February 7, at 12:30 p.m. The concert will be presented in the College of Visual and Performing Arts, room 153. Parking is available in lot 8/9. 

The program will feature works by Georg Philipp Telemann, Domenico Scarlatti, Joseph Bodin deBoismortier, Louis Couperin, and Francesco Geminiani. 

Paul Cienniwa teaches in the music departments at UMass Dartmouth and Salve Regina University. He serves as director of liturgical music at St. Mary’s Church in Newport, Rhode Island, and holds diplomas from DePaul University and Yale University, where he is a doctoral candidate in harpsichord performance. 

Audrey Cienniwa studied baroque violoncello with Hidemi Suzuki at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels and received diplomas from the conservatories at Nîmes and Lyon, France. She teaches at St. George’s School in Middletown, Rhode Island, and The Pennfield School in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Cienniwa has performed in France, Holland, Belgium, and Tunisia.
