India Ministry Secretary C. M. Bhandari To Address Umd Indic Studies Seminar
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth announced that its Center for Indic Studies will host a special seminar conducted by Mr. C. M. Bhandari, the Joint Secretary for the Ministry of External Affairs in the federal government of India. The seminar will be held on March 1 in the Library Browsing Area from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Secretary Bhandari will address the politics and realities associated with business outsourcing by companies in the United States and other nations.
Board Of Higher Education Presents Excellence Award To "Changing Lives Through Literature"
DARTMOUTH, MA. The New England Board of Higher Education will present its prestigious 2004 Excellence Award to Dr. Robert Waxler and his colleagues for their innovative alternative sentencing program Changing Lives Through Literature. The award will be presented at a ceremony and dinner scheduled for Friday evening, February 27 at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston.
Entrepreneurs Speaker Series
Fall River - The Advanced Technology & Manufacturing Center (ATMC) at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in conjunction with the South Coast Technology Council will host a series of brown bag speaker lunches to promote and enhance the work of entrepreneurs and emerging businesses.
