Enhancing Teaching with Technology: Designing Impactful Canvas Pages and Productive Pedagogies
Join the Kaput Center for our engaging Research to Practice seminar that explores how emerging generative AI technologies can strengthen course design, communication, and student learning. This interactive session—held Wednesday, November 12th from 2pm–3pm in Grove PDR—will showcase practical strategies for organizing course materials more clearly, improving accessibility, and leveraging AI-supported features in Canvas to enhance teaching. Facilitators will demonstrate workflows for translating syllabi and academic content into effective Canvas formats, designing impactful course pages, and using digital tools to support transparent, ethical, and student-centered pedagogy. Faculty are encouraged to bring their own materials and experiment during the session. Please register in advance; however, walk-ins are welcome.
