Bioengineering Study Abroad Opportunities

The College of Engineering and the International Programs Office are committed to making study abroad opportunities available to students. The highly structured, sequential nature of engineering curricula is often the biggest obstacle to students studying abroad for a semester. In response to this challenge, we have identified program options available to second-year, spring semester students. While these are not the only options available to students, these programs have been pre-approved by the college in an effort to facilitate the study abroad process.

University of Nicosia

The Semester in Cyprus program is hosted at the University of Nicosia, the leading university in Cyprus. Students select up to five courses from the School of Business, School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Law, and School of Sciences and Engineering. In addition to the academic coursework, students participate in a series of educational trips and cultural excursions within Cyprus. The excursions and cultural events ensure that students visit major cities in Cyprus, develop a relationship with the local culture and enhance their intercultural competencies.
