Winners of the Office of Undergraduate Research's awards exemplify research excellence

The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) recently announced the Summer 2024 award recipients and their faculty mentors. The awards are given to student researchers alongside a faculty supervisor to fund their proposals for research projects.

OUR and the Honors College, led by Dr. Amy Shapiro, partnered funding Honors students’ projects. Ten of this year’s summer award recipients are part of UMassD’s Honors College. 

The OUR works with students who aim to solve problems, make discoveries, and interact with research faculty outside the classroom.

Summer recipients are:
