U.S. News & World Report ranks CVPA MFA programs among top 29% in the nation

The College of Visual and Performing Arts was named among the "Best Fine Arts" programs by the U.S. News & World Report in their 2026 graduate school rankings, ranking 54^th overall and top 29% in the U.S., and second among public universities in New England.

"This recognition acknowledges the strengths and well-earned reputation of graduate education in the visual arts at UMass Dartmouth," said College of Visual and Performing Arts Dean Denise Baxter. "Our students are actively engaging with the broader cultural and professional landscapes in meaningful and impactful ways."
