Faculty Instructional Laptop Program (FILP)
The Faculty Instructional Laptop Program (FILP) Phase V distributes laptops to be used for instructional purposes in conjunction with the technology-enabled classrooms. These classrooms include a technology component that depends on faculty having laptop computers to use with the Internet and projection systems.
The Faculty Instructional Laptop Program (FILP) Phase V is now accepting applications.
It is the intent of the program to replace these laptops every 3 years. Faculty who participated in FILP Phases I - III receive a separate notification for renewal at the end of the 3-year lease. This year, faculty who participated in FILP - Phase II have already received an email noting automatic eligibility and replacement information. If you are not sure of which FILP phase you participate in, please contact Rob Roy at rob.roy@umassd.edu or 508-990-9654.
Eligibility Criteria for FILP - Phase V:
- Have never participated in a previous FILP
- Will use laptops in courses for Academic Year 2008-2009
- Do not already have a UMass Dartmouth laptop that is less than 2 years old
