My name is Tim Adedoyin and my journey Living half my life in Lagos as an Nigeria has thought me a lot with becoming a better person because my future is important and is near, I also faced a love and hate relationship like being judged for my name and accent and appearance but his pushed me to love and accept myself a lot more because in my tradition being well brought up in a loving Christian household and growing up with two siblings is not just about being in the word but it is mostly focuses on projecting what you preach because learning to share and how to respect others and dive into being successful in life is important so no one feels left out. My family always encourages me to respect my education and teachers because they have supported me with reminders and advised me to never give up if I struggle with anything. Which pushed me further to try my very best to meet my goals and needs because I want a big change in my life because I came to study cyber security and I am looking forward to making them proud and being able to retire them from their jobs. I have always been interested in tech because I imagine how quickly computers can be used for solving problems.

I chose to enroll in the University of Dartmouth because I heard it had a good academic environment that could make me grow as a student and build character. I knew this was a place for me because I am pursuing my passion in cyber security career and my focus as a student for the rest of my education is to develop knowledge and skills to learn how to contribute to the community around me. I want to take advantage of using the library more to support myself to study and do assignments. Plus Going to peer mentor meetings is especially needed to help me grasp understanding with assignment my teacher covered in class which can be helpful for go discuss and learn more to be prepare for my midterm coming up.

I plan to use my education and skills to help society in the future. By applying the lessons I have learned, I aim to tackle real-world problems, innovate solutions, and inspire others to do the same. My goal is to become a leader who not only excels in my chosen field but also makes a meaningful impact on the community and beyond.
