I am from Boston, Massachusetts, and I have lived in Roslindale for the past fourteen years. I live with my mom, my grandpa, and my uncle, and they have played a major role in shaping who I am today. I am the only child on my mother’s side of the family and the younger of two sons on my father’s side. Growing up in this family environment has taught me the importance of support, responsibility, and staying grounded. My family has always been the foundation for everything I do, and their encouragement motivates me to work hard and stay focused on my goals.
Since starting college, I have maintained a strong social life and surrounded myself with a positive and supportive group of people. Building meaningful
relationships has helped me stay optimistic and confident during my first semester. Having friends who push me to do better and who share similar values has made my transition into college life smoother and more enjoyable. I believe that surrounding myself with the right people plays a major role in personal growth and academic success.
At this point in my life, my main focus is doing my absolute best in college while maintaining a positive mindset. I strive to keep a good head on my shoulders and work toward becoming a better version of myself each day. I want to be someone who makes a difference and someone who others can appreciate for who I truly am. Personal growth is important to me, and I believe that improving even a little every day leads to long-term success.
Looking ahead, my goals are both academic and personal. I aim to earn strong grades throughout my college career, meet new and inspiring people, and build a strong professional network. I also plan to secure a job or internship that will help me gain real-world experience and prepare me for my future career. Most importantly, I want to become a well-educated individual who others can look up to. I understand that success does not happen overnight, so I plan to take everything one day at a time while staying committed to my goals.
