My name is Angelo Peralta. I was born in Florida, and my family moved around quite a bit until we arrived in New Bedford, where me and my mom have lived here for the last 10 years. My parents are Dominican, and my father is out of the picture. My sibling used to live with us, but moved out a couple years ago. I live with just my mom and cat now.

I have chosen to enroll into Umass Dartmouth because it was the college I was accepted into, and it seemed like a good choice. At the moment, I plan on figuring out my which degree I want based on my passions and interests. I don’t have much of an idea on what degree I currently want, but I do know I enjoy music and videogames.

As I don’t have an idea for what I want for a major, I don’t know how I plan to benefit
society.
