I decided to go to UMass Dartmouth because I got the chance to join the College Now program. I thought it would really help me get used to college life and give me a solid start. I wanted to be prepared for what’s ahead and feel confident about handling the challenges of college.

My main goal is to focus on learning about my career and figuring out what I want to do in the future. I’m excited to take classes and get experiences that will help me build the skills I need. For me, college isn’t just about getting a degree  it’s about working towards my goal and preparing for the career i am trying to obtain 
When I’m not studying, I like to play games and make friends. It’s a good way for me to relax and meet new people and take a break from stressfull work. I also live with type one diabetes, which has taught me a lot about being responsible and staying strong. Managing my health while working toward my goals has made me more determined to succeed.

Overall, I chose UMass Dartmouth because of the opportunity the College Now program gave me, and I plan to use my time here to learn, grow, and prepare for the future. I’m also looking forward to building friendships and taking care of my health along the way.
