I am Shaurya Raj Singh and I am eighteen years old and was born in India however grew up in New Jersey but had annual India trips to stay connected with my heritage. I am bilingual as Hindi is my first language and English is my second language, German being my third self-taught language however I like to learn German for fun! I know a little broken phrases of German however. My entire bloodline is from India and our religion is Hinduism. My father came to the United States in 2000 and with me coming along with my mother in 2007 when I was 3 months old! I chose to enroll at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth because it is an opportunistic college with a variety of opportunities! And it has a wide variety of majors, I also love the college now program as it has many opportunities for the students of Massachusetts Dartmouth University! I want to help people by the time I walk out of graduation with my degree by donating and distributing knowledge to everyone in a meaningful way! Knowledge has no limits but money does! I am going to use my education to contribute to society by making sure I regularly donate to charity groups. I will also lecture and educate the underprivileged people about the wonders of the world and teach them things they have never learned about. I want to teach everyone humane and virtuous values that value the gift of life and humanity. I believe that intelligence is a gift given to us, and it should be used for the good of humanity. I will help innocent animals by making sure they have better homes by me volunteering at local animal shelters. I will give back to my religious communities as well, overall, in essence I will give back every part of me to the community and to the people who made me who I am today.
