News 2024: Emerging Young Artists and Designers 2024 Award Winners Exhibition

UMass Dartmouth College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) is pleased to present the Emerging Young Artists and Designers 2024 Award Winners Exhibition, continuing our tradition of exhibiting exceptional high school students’ work since 2013.  The exhibition reception and awards presentation for the exhibiting artists, their art teachers, the UMass Dartmouth community, and the general public will be held on Saturday, March 30, from 2 PM to 4 PM. Light refreshment will be served.

Please use parking lot 9 (closest to the building), 8A, or 10 and walk to the CVPA building from there. The gallery is on the first floor. [Follow this link to google maps for the gallery location.]
 
The Emerging Young Artists and Designers 2024 Award Winners Exhibition presents the winners of this highly competitive juried exhibition, which celebrates the exceptional artistic merit of New England’s high school students. EYAD 2024 received submissions from over 800 young artists, from which the juror, CVPA’s Associate Dean Ann Kim, selected 200 works for the online exhibition.

EYAD 2024’s Award Winners and Honorable Mention Recipients presented in this marvelous physical exhibition at CVPA Campus Gallery are:  
Joy Son, Belmont High School, MA (1st Place Award); Chloe Xu, Belmont High School, MA (2nd Place Award); Isaiah Agyekumi, Avon Old Farms School, CT (3rd Place Award); Dora Dorval, Brockton High School, MA (Dean’s Choice Award); Elisabeth Turner, Dennis Yarmouth Regional High School, MA (Foundations Award); Melanie Boria, Nonnewaug High School, CT (Honorable Mention); Qihan Fu, Dana Hall School, MA (Honorable Mention); Allison Loya, Fairfield Ludlowe High School, CT (Honorable Mention); Isadora Brandao, Barnstable High School, MA (Honorable Mention); Jin Roe, Belmont High School, MA (Honorable Mention); Sara Delic, Wethersfield High School, CT (Honorable Mention); and Kelly Wasserboehr, Natick High School, MA (People’s Choice Award).
