Commonwealth Professor Dan Braha (Decision & Information Sciences) co-published "A voter-model representation of the multi-allelic Moran process: Exact stationary distributions and diversity thresholds from well-mixed populations to complex networks" in the Journal of Theoretical Biology. The paper examines how a model of genetic drift and mutation, the multi-allelic Moran process, can be translated into a voter model.

Assistant Teaching Professor Basil H. Aboul-Enein (Health & Society) recently co-published "Incorporating the use of puppets and puppetry-based approaches in nutrition: a scoping review of interventions" in the Journal of Nutritional Science. This review aimed to provide an inclusive description of the nature and extent of puppetry interventions in nutrition education, their roles and applications, and their outcomes and recommendations.
Librarian Emma Wood was featured in an article discussing a proposal by the Trump Administration to prohibit researchers from using federal research funds to pay for open-access journal fees.
Jessie Kittel '25, Professor Steve Cadrin (Fisheries Oceanography), Alex Hansell '20, and Cole Carrano '25 co-published "Incorporating environmental covariates into a state-space stock assessment model for Yellowtail Flounder" in the Canadian Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences. The article examines the changing environment in stock assessment and examines approaches to identify environmental data for inclusion in a state-space stock assessment model.
