UMass Dartmouth has signed new articulation agreements with Roxbury Community College and Springfield Technical Community College, expanding access to advanced nursing education across Massachusetts. These agreements open a streamlined pathway for registered nurses to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing. With credits transferring seamlessly, students can complete their degrees faster and at a lower cost.

Designed with working nurses in mind, UMass Dartmouth's flexible, fully online RN-BS program enables students to balance coursework with professional and personal responsibilities while advancing their education and career opportunities.

“UMass Dartmouth is proud to partner with Roxbury Community College and Springfield Technical Community College to support registered nurses seeking to advance their education,” said Anne Berriault, Assistant Director of Admissions for UMass Dartmouth Online. “Our RN–BS program is designed to meet nurses where they are, providing the flexibility, academic rigor, and support needed to succeed.”

Online RN–BS students may also benefit from UMass Dartmouth Online's Success by Degrees program, which offers an eligible tuition credit to graduates of Massachusetts and Rhode Island community colleges enrolled in fully online undergraduate programs. The initiative helps reduce the cost of degree completion while supporting students as they continue their academic momentum.

By building stronger connections with community colleges, UMass Dartmouth is helping more nurses turn their prior education into forward momentum, without starting from scratch.
